Out Commitment to Your Privacy
Welcome to Prévoir. Our mission is to transform fashion merchandising by providing clear, actionable insights through our AI-powered platform. The foundation of our relationship with our clients is trust, and that begins with a clear, transparent, and steadfast commitment to data privacy.
This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, explains how we use it to power our Service, and details the rigorous safeguards we have in place to protect it. We believe that privacy policies should be understandable. We encourage you to read this policy carefully to understand our practices. By using our Website or Services, you acknowledge and agree to the practices we describe here.

Our Service is operated by Prévoir Inc, a Canadian company headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. This policy applies to the data processed through our website (www.prevoir.ai) and our Services.
For any privacy-related questions or to exercise your rights, you may contact our privacy department at privacy@prevoir.ai.
We are committed to processing all information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and relevant US state privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

We are guided by the principle of data minimization. We collect only the data that is essential to provide and improve our Service, and we have architected our platform accordingly. For our launch on the Shopify App Store, we are operating in compliance with Shopify's Level 1 data handling requirements. This means we do not access or store personally identifiable information (PII) like names, addresses, phone numbers, or emails belonging to your end-customers.
The data we collect is categorized as follows:
Merchant Account Data: When you, as a merchant, create an account with us, we may collect your name, email address, and contact details. This information is used strictly for account management, billing, and providing you with essential service-related communications.
Aggregated Sales & Product Data: To generate insights, our platform queries anonymized and aggregated data from your Shopify store, such as which products were sold, in what quantities, and from which general locations (e.g., a retail store or an online warehouse). This data is fundamental to the Service and does not contain end-customer PII.
Technical and Usage Data: We automatically collect technical information when you interact with our Website and Services, including IP addresses, browser types, and usage patterns. This helps us maintain the security of our platform and improve the user experience.
AI-Generated Data: This is the core of our value proposition. Our AI models analyze the data you provide to generate anonymized, aggregated insights, such as top-performing product attributes and emerging market trends. This data is derived from your information but is not personally identifiable.
Cookie Data: We use essential and functional cookies to operate our site and understand user behavior. For more detailed information, please review our dedicated Cookie Policy.

We consider the security of your data a paramount responsibility. All data is stored and processed within secure cloud environments, primarily on Microsoft Azure servers located in Canada. We employ a multi-layered security strategy to protect your information, which includes:
Encryption: Data is encrypted both in transit over networks and at rest in our databases.
Access Controls: We have implemented robust physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the data we collect, limiting internal access to a need-to-know basis.
Incident Response: We maintain procedures to respond to any suspected data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator where we are legally required to do so.
- 04
We do not "sell" your data as the term is commonly understood. We only share information in the following limited and necessary circumstances:
With Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party companies, like Microsoft Azure, to provide the infrastructure for our service. These partners are bound by strict confidentiality and data protection obligations and are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.
As Directed by You via Shopify: Our primary partner is Shopify. We only access the data necessary to provide our services as authorized by you through the Shopify platform.
For Legal Compliance or Protection: We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our clients, or the public.
In the Event of a Business Transfer: If Prévoir is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- 05
We believe in empowering our clients. Depending on your jurisdiction, you have specific rights regarding your data, which may include the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your information.
California Residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what information is collected and the right to opt-out of the "sharing" of your personal information. You can exercise this right at any time via our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" page.
To exercise any of your rights, please contact us directly at privacy@prevoir.ai.

The world of technology and data is dynamic. Should our services evolve to require different types of data, we are committed to updating this policy and providing you with clear, advance notice. Our promise is to remain transparent and to collect only what we need to deliver value to you.
